Rural/Metro San Diego is a division of Rural/Metro Ambulance, one of the nation's premiere private ambulance providers. Rural/Metro San Diego has been the largest 911 paramedic and non-emergency ambulance provider in San Diego County since 1997, and has set a national standard for exceptional emergency medical service.
With more than 550 employees and a fleet of more than 80 ambulances, Rural/Metro San Diego responds to approximately 100,000 emergency calls a year throughout San Diego County.
